hi there.
I’m Anisah. I’m an art director and designer, and I currently live in NYC (Manhattanite here). I prefer being direct, so instead of paragraphs, here are some fun lists with all the important stuff and less of the fluff.
The things that make “work” not work:
visually solving problems and puzzles.
getting to collaborate with other kickass creative minds.
learning from other really cool and hella talented creatives to always be improving.
having co-workers (aka friends at work) who make me laugh.
working on projects with meaning and purpose–would love to have my sporadic doodles help make the world a better place.
anything new to keep it interesting.
What about WHO I am? I don’t always know either, but this is what I do when I’m not working:
cooking or eating—preferably both.
being active. My legs were truly made for walking, running, dancing, hiking, etc.
rec sports—mainly softball. I’ll be in the outfield trying to get better at catching pop flies.
writing. I needed a creative outlet that wasn’t visual, so I started journaling a few years ago. Found out I love it.
doodling. Even with the writing, obviously I can’t help this: @diaryof.somegirl
hanging out with my tuxedo cat, whose name is Chicken.
